Commuter Dash 5K

The Triad Commute Challenge Commuter Dash 5K run/walk event is the kick-off event for the 7th Annual Triad Commute Challenge. By registering for the Commuter Dash, participants 16 and over agree to try an alternate commute option (bike, walk, bus, vanpool, carpool, telecommute) at least one time prior to July 6, 2013 instead of driving alone.

Location: High Point Theatre, 220 E. Commerce St, High Point

Race Time: 9:00 AM

Cost: Free

Timing: Precision Timing

Prizes: Top 3 Males, Top 3 Females, Door Prize (Valued at $25 – $100)

Restrictions: You must be 16 years of age or older to take the Triad Commute Challenge and to REGISTER for the Commuter Dash 5K event. While children may participate with an adult, they will NOT be officially timed and should NOT be registered. Pets and strollers are welcome!

Logistics

Course Description: (Click here for Course Map) USA Track & Field Certified 5K road race with a full loop covering several city blocks in downtown High Point! Runners face two inclines. The course will be monitored by police for safety.

Parking: Free parking will be available in the Broad Street Parking Deck. The parking deck is accessible via Broad Street from Southbound Wrenn, Northbound Hamilton Street, or Centennial Street only a short walk from the High Point Theatre.
